Our Mission

OAME's AEPT Resource Center shall advance opportunities for MWESBs by working to reduce industry barriers, promoting networking / communication, establishing / promoting the business case, and defining a process or standards for contracting similar to those used in the construction industry.

Welcome to the AEPT Resource Center

The City of Portland Bureau of Purchases has created this website to assist architectural, engineering, professional and technical [AEPT] small businesses. Initially, the site is focused on the architectural and engineering communities, however, the goal is to expand to other professional and technical services companies in the coming months. Please contact us with your ideas to enhance the usefulness of the website.

The Resource Center covers four broad areas:

  • A contact list of AEPT small businesses, indicating certifications held [DSB, MBE, WBE, ESB].
  • Information about procurement procedures and contracting opportunities with government agencies.
  • Professional development resources.
  • Important cooperative agreements and public agency support programs for AEPT firms.

The RFP will be a solicitation for Construction Services for developing and implementing ecoroof projects in the City of

Portland. Specific topics covered in the presentation will include:

Ecoroof fundamentals: What is an ecoroof, and how do they work-

                BES Ecoroof Program and Incentives

Ecoroof Construction Contract Details and Evaluation Process

Part 3 will be a question and answer period.
