1. 2016 Trade Show & Luncheon Was a Success

Our 28th Annual Trade Show took place on May 5th.  The exhibit floor had one of the largest crowds ever for OAME’s shows and the luncheon had 850 guests.  Governor Kate Brown introduced a Proclamation for MWESBs and the luncheon panel received many compliments for their perspective on business today.  To view the video filmed by Tim Neighbors at Invisible Harness, click HERE.  To view the Governor Brown’s Official Proclamation of May 5th as MWESBV day, click HERE.

 

 



2. OAME Gets Ranked #2 Nationally

The Small Business Administration recently announced the top microlenders for fiscal year 2014.

OAME placed #1 in the Western United States and #2 in the country for volume of microloans to borrowers.

3. 2015 Youth Conference Was a Success

Our 2015 Youth Conference has wrapped up and it was a great success!

We hosted 38 students for the day long event during which eight teams competed for the best business plan.

5. Youth Entrepreneurship

The mission of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (Y.E.P.) is to provide training and hands-on experience to youth, with the support and mentor-ship of businesses in the state of Oregon and SW Washington.  The program aims to promote and develop youth entrepreneurs and leaders statewide.
