2. OAME Now Hosts Veteran’s Committee Meetings

The goal of OAME’s Veteran Committee is to assist Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) in reaching more opportunities. Veteran-owned businesses interested in the SDVOSB certification process should also attend.  The meetings will be held monthly and announced on the OAME home page.

3. 2016 Youth Conference Was a Success!

Our 2016 Youth Conference was a great success!

On August 11th, OAME hosted 46 students for the day long event during which nine teams competed for the best business plan.
The winning team was Re-Sync, show outlined a plan to recycle used electronics for a profit.

4. 2016 Trade Show & Luncheon Was a Success

Our 28th Annual Trade Show took place on May 5th.  The exhibit floor had one of the largest crowds ever for OAME’s shows and the luncheon had 850 guests.  Governor Kate Brown introduced a Proclamation for MWESBs and the luncheon panel received many compliments for their perspective on business today.  To view the video filmed by Tim Neighbors at Invisible Harness, click HERE.  To view the Governor Brown’s Official Proclamation of May 5th as MWESBV day, click HERE.
