Through a federal grant by the Small Business Administration, OAME is able to provide free one-on-one counseling to business owners.
Networking Meetings
At OAME, we believe strong connections lead to strong communities. Our two monthly networking events—CAEPT Networking Meetings and Coffee & Issues Forums—offer powerful opportunities for small business owners, agency partners, and advocates to connect, collaborate, and grow.
Veterans Committee
The OAME Veterans Committee supports veteran business owners by connecting them with business support organizations, veteran-specific services, and a network of like-minded peers. Leveraging strong relationships within Oregon’s military and veteran communities, the committee fosters connections that strengthen both business growth and the veteran community.
OAME is a non-profit, tax-exempt membership organization founded in 1987 with the mission to promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for ethnic minorities in the State of Oregon & SW Washington. OAME focuses on providing support services to small businesses.
